Ecoeléctrica del Levante S.L. is a transport company based in Murcia, Spain, specialised in moving food from the primary sector —farming, livestock and fishing— to distribution centres, wholesalers and clients across the country.

Refrigerated and curtainside: the right fit for every food
Not all food travels the same way. We offer two types of transport to protect the cargo according to its preservation needs.
Refrigerated transport
Guaranteed cold chain
The refrigerated truck is an insulated (isothermal) vehicle fitted with a mechanical cooling unit that keeps a constant temperature inside the box throughout the journey. This preserves the cold chain: the temperature is never broken from loading to delivery.
It is the mandatory transport for perishable goods, carried chilled (between 0 °C and 7 °C depending on the product) or frozen (below −18 °C), in line with the requirements of the ATP Agreement on perishable foodstuffs.
- What it is used for: fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and seafood, dairy, frozen food and any product requiring controlled temperature.
- How it works: insulated box + cooling unit that regulates and keeps the temperature even throughout.
- Why it matters: it prevents the growth of microorganisms and preserves food quality and safety.

Curtainside transport
Versatile and quick to load
The curtainside truck (also called a tautliner or tilt truck) covers the sides and roof with a retractable curtain that opens and closes. This allows loading and unloading from both the rear and the sides, quickly and easily, even with a crane or forklift.
It is designed for cargo that does not need refrigeration: it protects the load from sun and rain and adapts to very different volumes and formats. It is the most versatile and lightweight option for shelf-stable, ambient-temperature products.
- What it is used for: non-perishable food, palletised goods, canned products, nuts, pulses, beverages, sacks and packaged ambient-temperature cargo.
- How it works: a frame with sliding curtains on the sides and roof that are pulled back for flexible loading.
- Why it matters: it speeds up loading/unloading and makes the most of the trailer space.
